Making a safer educational environment

Love it or hate it, the 'NavBar' appears at the top of most blogs. Notice anything different now?

I have always shyed away from publicising blogger too much as there is always the worry in an educational setting of what you get if you click the 'Next Blog' button - in many cases it is quite inappropriate for the classroom.

Anyway, yesterday I was tipped off how to get rid of it. Want to know how? Click here for a quick tutorial...

Thanks Andrew- this HTML is a piece of cake eh? I have now removed the offending bar from my blog- just about to go and look at the teddies.

Ok..that was an important point we discussed some time ago....but..having removed the entire navbar...how do you the administer the blog?
The blogger icon, down the side?...off to try that, because I was one who didn't want the children to see the next blog. The firewall stops most of it loading...but shows the first page which can still be offensive. My little chickadees have been too busy looking at their sitemeter to see a next blog tag...but.. so many are checking the blog at home, they might then. Guess you got your feeds sorted then? This you need to communicate soon, in words of one syllable.

Marlyn - I've never administered the blog using the link on the NavBar - bookmark your 'dashboard' (www.blogger.com/home) once you have logged in and it will take you to a log in screen already completed for you - just click 'Log in'. Failing that, at the top right of the blogger.com screen fill in your info and tick 'remember me'.

I'll try and do a movie for the feed thing as soon as I can!

Tiny bit problematic there...signing in with 5 identities on the one blog currently...be ok on my own one though.
