Good people, good food.

Tonight we had the 'Scotedublogs Meet-up' after eLive '06 had finished. It was a brilliant experience putting faces and personalities to names, so thanks everyone for a great evening. Here's looking forward to the next one (which, I believe is to be at SETT)

Blog on!

Good people, good food and a fire at the Scottish Executive! What more could a block of Edubloggers ask for? :-)

Ewan, had an idea about a west coast bothy blogging session. Not sure how serious he was, but I feel bereft, not having been to elive, and hold that thought. Always thought the last bit would be the best. Will get to SETT courtesy of LTS this year anyway! Wohay! Should thank you and Ewan and John J, and David for your live blogging etc. At least got a wee flavour! Oh..and well done too to the wifi techs who had that all set up for you. Aint technology wonderful, when it works!!

I was soooooo disappointed that I didn't make it through t Edinburgh for the Guinness and food (2 of my Fav things!) but the way thing went I am glad I made the choice I did.
I was speaking at the 'Sense of Place'Conf at the Lighthouse in Glasgow.
I just picked up an email which started, ' Thanks once again for a very stimulating and thought provoking presentation at the above. It certainly caused a lot of debate among the delegates during the rest of the day.....' and an invite to repeat the presentation at 3 authorities

Well worth it but still looking forward to actually meeting people
